Zinc oxide rotary kiln is an important equipment used to produce zinc oxide. It is a rotary heating equipment with the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection.
Zinc oxide rotary kiln is a kind of equipment that produces zinc oxide by heating the reaction mineral powder and making it react chemically in the rotary kiln.
In the production process of zinc oxide, zinc oxide rotary kiln is usually used as the core equipment for the processes of sintering, roasting and reduction, and is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection and other fields.
Zinc oxide rotary kiln usually consists of rotor, support device, transmission device, roasting chamber, cooling device, smoke exhaust system, etc.
The working principle of zinc oxide rotary kiln is to use the thermal energy provided by the rotating cylinder and heating equipment to thermally decompose the raw material of zinc oxide and convert it into zinc oxide.
The pyrolysis reaction takes place at high temperatures, usually above 900°C, and requires the use of external heating equipment, such as gas fuel oil and other fuels, to provide sufficient heat energy.
The working process of zinc oxide rotary kiln is divided into the following stages.
1. Preheating stage: The temperature in the kiln begins to rise, and the water and other volatile substances in the material gradually evaporate and are discharged.
2. Calcination stage: When the kiln temperature rises to a certain level, the material starts to undergo oxidation reaction to produce zinc oxide and fumes.
3. Reduction stage: The material continues to move forward and passes through the reduction area, reducing zinc oxide to metal oxides and gases.
4. Cooling stage: The material passes through the cooling area at the discharge end, cools and is discharged from the kiln.
