Lime Production Line (Calcium Hydroxide Production Line) Описание продукта
Quicklime / Active Lime / Hydrated Lime Production include Calcium hydroxide production line
The reaction process is as follows:
CaCO₃ → CaO + CO₂↑CaO + H₂O → Ca(OH)₂

Flowsheet and Solution designed for our customers
Lime production line processes limestone into quicklime (CaO) or slaked lime (Ca(OH)₂) through crushing, calcination, and cooling processes.
1. Crush and screen the limestone to the required particle size.
2. Place the particles in a rotary kiln or vertical kiln and calcine at 900-1200°C to decompose into quicklime (CaO).
3. Rapidly cool the calcined material, which may undergo further grinding or slaking to produce hydrated lime (Ca(OH)₂).
Modern production lines incorporate preheaters and waste heat recovery systems to enhance energy efficiency, alongside dust removal and desulfurization measures to control emissions. The product finds extensive applications in metallurgy, environmental protection, and construction industries.

Dry and Wet Process Methods of Calcium hydroxide Plants
All slaked lime products are meticulously manufactured using premium chemical-grade calcium ore (calcium content exceeding 95%) through advanced production techniques. Slaked lime is produced by the chemical reaction between quicklime and water, representing a traditional inorganic chemical product. Its manufacturing employs either dry or wet processes, differing slightly in methodology yet sharing the same fundamental principle:
Dry Calcium Hydroxide Production Process: Qualified quicklime is crushed to approximately 3mm using a jaw crusher. It is then conveyed via bucket elevator and vibrating bin feeder into the lime storage silo. Lime from the silo is metered into the slaked lime pre-digester through a star feeder. Under vigorous stirring by agitator blades, it undergoes preliminary digestion before entering the digester for complete digestion. Digested lime is conveyed via a lime elevator and screw feeder into the slaked lime silo. A screw separator then produces refined slaked lime. This refined product is discharged into the finished goods silo and packaged according to customer specifications.
Wet Process (Food Grade) – Lime Digestion Method: Limestone is calcined into calcium oxide, then selectively digested with water at a ratio of 1:(3–3.5) to produce calcium hydroxide (lime powder) slurry. The slurry undergoes purification and separation to remove impurities, followed by centrifugal dewatering. It is dried at 150–300°C and screened (120 mesh or finer) to yield finished calcium hydroxide (lime powder).
