Precautions When Batching Concrete Mixing Plant

Concrete mixing plant is composed of main components such as mixing system, batching system, conveying system and control system. The concrete mixing plant equipment is to proportion the materials such as sand and gravel aggregate, cement powder, water, external additives, etc., according to certain ratio, and finally all the materials it has been proportioned will be transported to the concrete mixer for mixing, so that it becomes the concrete we need on the construction project.

The quality of the ingredients is crucial to the production of concrete. Under normal circumstances, the concrete mixing plant adopts fully automatic control system, pre-setting the proportion of materials and weighing and measuring automatically, so that the error is small.

However, there are inevitable errors in the machine operation, so the operator needs to observe and check the computer data in time to ensure the measurement accuracy. During the production process, it is also necessary to observe the measurement error and material residue to ensure the accuracy.

When admixtures are added in the production of concrete, the mixing time should be extended appropriately. For example, when fly ash is added to the concrete, the mixing time should be extended by about 20 seconds compared to normal concrete; if there are other admixtures, the mixing time should be extended by about 50 seconds.

Operators need to master the various control parts of the concrete mixing plant and follow the correct operation sequence and procedures to avoid damage to the equipment and loss of materials due to operational errors. In case of emergency, it is also important to handle the situation correctly.
